Located in Washington DC, Paul Public Charter School offers students a core curriculum, which consists of Spanish, English, mathematics, humanities-based social studies, and science. In addition to these required core subjects, all students are required to take classes in the visual and performing arts as well as health and physical education.
 
Mission Statement: "The mission of Paul Public Charter School is to educate our students and to develop in them the capacity to be responsible citizens, independent thinkers and leaders. "
 
Snapshot of Paul Public Charter School:
     -opened in 2000 and is the District's first conversion charter school,
      serves 586 students in grades 5-9;
     -Latin is a foundation course for all students;
     -the school partners with many community organizations including
       Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Kennedy Center for the Performing
       Arts, National Institute for Mental Health and the Foundation for
       Advanced Education in the Sciences, Booz Allen & Hamilton,
       GEAR UP, Higher Achievement Program, Project Match, STEP/I
       Have A Dream;
     -accredited by AALE in June of 2005
