Accreditation actions taken at the AALE Board of
Trustees Meeting, June 2006
- At the recommendation of the Executive Council of
the Board, the full Board of Trustees deferred
consideration of the applications for programmatic
accreditation from the American University for
Humanities programs at Lee Community College in
Singapore and University Business and Computer College,
Jadara Campus, Lebanon, until the November 2006 meeting.
- The Board, after considered discussions, deferred
the applications for Institutional Pre-Accreditation
from Great Lakes University in Auburn Hills, Michigan
and Southern Catholic College in Dawsonville, Georgia,
for up to one-year, pending responses from the
institutions regarding Board concerns.

At the behest of the Board Chairman, Dr. Lee Fritschler,
the Academy is to undertake a new project in the area of
student achievement and curricula assessment.
