Accreditation Actions Taken at the AALE Board of Trustees Meeting, November 2007

  • The AALE Board did not vote on any pending Higher Education applications
  • The AALE Board extended for good cause the Pre-accreditation of Ave Maria University, Naples, FL, until June 2008

Accreditation Actions Taken at the AALE Board of Trustees Meeting, May 2007

  • Southern Catholic College (Georgia) Application for Institutional Pre-accreditation was Accepted
  • Holy Spirit College (Georgia) Application for Institutional Pre-accreditation was Accepted
  • American Pathways University (Colorado) Application for Institutional Pre-accreditation was Accepted
  • Great Lakes University (Michigan) Application for Institutional Pre-accreditation was Rejected

Accreditation Actions Taken at the AALE Board of Trustees Meeting, December 2006

  • New Council Members (2006-2007) - Dominic Aquila - St. Thomas University, Houston and Mark Bauerlein - Emory University
  • Application for International Program Accreditation from the American University for the Humanities Program (Jadra, Lebanon) was Accepted
  • Application for International Program Accreditation from the American University for the Humanities Program (Singapore City, Singapore) was Accepted

Accreditation actions taken at the AALE Board of Trustees Meeting, June 2006

  • At the recommendation of the Executive Council of the Board, the full Board of Trustees deferred consideration of the applications for programmatic accreditation from the American University for Humanities programs at Lee Community College in Singapore and University Business and Computer College, Jadara Campus, Lebanon, until the November 2006 meeting.
  • The Board, after considered discussions, deferred the applications for Institutional Pre-Accreditation from Great Lakes University in Auburn Hills, Michigan and Southern Catholic College in Dawsonville, Georgia, for up to one-year, pending responses from the institutions regarding Board concerns.
  • At the behest of the Board Chairman, Dr. Lee Fritschler, the Academy is to undertake a new project in the area of student achievement and curricula assessment.

  • European College of Liberal Arts, Berlin, Germany - Granted International Certification, through November 2015
  • International Christian University, Tokyo, Japan - granted Programmatic Accreditation, through November 2015
  • Saint Bail's College, Stamford, Connecticut - Granted Institutional Preaccreditation, through November 2008.

  • American University of Humanities, Tblisi, Georgia - Granted Programmatic Accreditation, through June 2015.

Accreditation actions taken at the AALE Board of Trustees Meetings, November 2004

  • Ave Maria College, Ypsilanti, Michigan - Granted Institutional Accreditation (which also covers one branch campus in Nicaragua) through November, 2007
  • Ave Maria University, Naples, Florida - Granted Preaccreditation through November 2007
  • Magdalen College, Warner, New Hampshire - Granted Institutional Accreditation through November 2014
