The Rendell Center for Civics and Civic Engagement (PA) works with K-8 schools to build civic curriculum so students learn and practice the knowledge and skills of effective active citizenship. In addition to Literacy Based Programs and Experiential Learning Exercises for students, The Rendell Center provides distinctive learning opportunities for K-12 educators, including the Summer Institute for K-12 Teachers featuring an intensive, week-long course on the substance and teaching of American History, civics, and the Constitution.
